There are prenatal and nursing multivitamins which are an excellent investment for pregnant women. The multivitamins provide vitamins necessary for a healthy baby, without the mother having to pop some pills. For example, some multivitamins provide folic acid, Vitamin D, Vitamin B13, Omega Acids, Vitamin A, and Iron. While these nutrients are found in specific foods, it is difficult to get the required amounts from foods, necessitating the supplements.
